Spyderco developed this UK Penknife (C94PBK) after the United Kingdom prohibited the carry of knives with locking blades. Spyderco began refining the classic slip-joint pocket mechanism with a notched joint and added two features that define the modern folding knife: a pocket clip for convenient carry and the Trademark Round Hole for easy, ambidextrous one-hand opening. The UK Penknife has an overall length of 6.88″ and weighs 1.7 oz.

The UK Penknife has a leaf shape blade, measuring 2.93″ in length and 0.098″ in thickness. The blade has a flat grind, a plain edge blade and is made from CTS BD1 steel for strength and durability.

The black handle is made from fiberglass reinforced nylon and offers ultimate grip and control. The knife has a index finger choil for support and control in addition to a useful pocket clip for convenient carry.
