Klarus H1A

Description

The Klarus H1A headlamp has a maximum output of 550 lumens from the Cree XP-L V6 LED and is powered by 1 x AA (alkaine or NiMH) or 14500 Li-ion battery. The head torch includes a Klarus 14500 cell with a micro USB charging port on the battery itself, eliminating the need for a separate charger. 

The primary white light offers a gentle fade in and out to ensure eye safety and improve user comfort. In addition to the main LED, the H1A features two secondary LEDs to allow the headlamp to suit a broad range of activities. One of these is a Cree XP-E2 R2 LED which provides a floodlight with a warm beam tint, ideal for close-up applications that require accurate colour rendering, such as map reading. The second is a red LED which is useful in emergency situations or to preserve night vision and penetrating fog. 

The Klarus H1A has an optimal beam pattern which angles itself towards the ground to avoid dazzling oncoming traffic or pedestrians. Additionally, the light sits on a 90º adjustable plate so you can aim the light as required. 

The headlight is operated by a dual switch which sits on top of the body. The larger button, the primary switch, is used to control the main light and its outputs and the side switch operates the secondary modes. The H1A features a lockout mode to avoid accidental activation; this is accessed by pressing and holding both switches simultaneously for 3 seconds. To exit lockout mode, rapidly press any switch three times.

Maximum beam distance 100 meters, waterproof to IPX6 and resistant to impacts up to 1 meter.
