Fenix HP16R

Description

The Fenix HP16R head torch features three separate light sources of spotlight, floodlight and red light making it very versatile for all kinds of hands free usage.

The HP16R features a battery case on the back of the headband and includes a rechargeable 3000mAh Li-ion battery pack, which can be charged via USB-C with the included cable.. For occasions when recharging is not convenient, the Li-ion battery pack can be replaced with 4 x AA Ni-MH / alkaline batteries, making it ideal for emergency use.

Operation is via dual switches on top of the lamp unit to select the various brightness modes.

Spotlight

Turbo: 1250 lumens – 4 hours – 260 meters

High: 400 lumens – 8 hours – 149 meters

Med: 150 lumens – 12 hours – 88 meters

Low: 50 lumens – 36 hours – 52 meters

Floodlight

High: 400 lumens – 8 hours – 48 meters

Med: 150 lumens – 12 hours – 30 meters

Low: 5 lumens – 300 hours – 6 meters

Red Light

Red: 5 lumens – 300 hours – 6 meters

Flash: 5 lumens – 600 hours – 6 meters

The floodlight output is from a Cree XP-G2 neutral white LED with a colour temperature of 4500k. This provides improved colour rendition.

The body of the HP16R is constructed from lightweight aluminium, which helps with heat dissipation and is water resistant up to 2 meters.

Other features include physical and electronic lockouts to prevent accidental operation, 60 degree tilt mechanism.
